So you want to know how I started to code?
At starting I too faced a lot of problems, by making mistakes I got to experience a lot. And I use to do small projects to get what is what on websites. And I followed a ton of educational sites to find good programming tutorials.
Some of my favorites are:
- Code Academy,
- Udemy
- Khan Academy
How did I start?
- Picked up just One programming language,
- used to practiced daily,
- Used to teach others for my revision,
- Used to perform small projects,
- Never give up.
My Advice on which programming language to learn?
- Something easy: JavaScript, Python
- Solid Foundation: C, C++
- A job or want to make mobile apps: Flutter, Java
- Try simple programming: Front-end Development
- Try basic projects like Chatbot, E-commerce,
- Try design: UI/UX
Can You learn coding on your own?
I feel No until you focus on just one thing!
While learning to program on your own can be easy when you have a mentor to keep you on track.
Just follow a strict timetable. Make sure you stick to one book or one course until you are done. Wisely select your material before you start.
Do I need to be good at Math's to code?
Not when you starting to learn AND later on also it depends which path you want to choose. If you want to take courses in machine learning or data science, knowledge of elementary math's is very important.
Not all topics but at least STAT< probability, Linear algebra, and a few more topics.
How difficult is coding?
No, Coding is not hard to learn. However, like anything new, it’s not easy to start.
How difficult a time one has with learning to code will vary across a number of factors like time practices and focus.
The point is learning to code isn’t impossible but it’s daunting or tiresome if you are not getting but just for few days.
